Camila was diagnosed with autism when she was two and a half years old and goes to her "sensory room" to immerse herself in music. Because of Camila's love for music and the lack of services for kids with autism in Southwest Florida, Camila's mother Marcela Guimoye started a nonprofit called EndlessBrain. EndlessBrain provides music opportunities for kids with special needs. “My expectations for EndlessBrain is to make Camila as happy as possible and give kids like her the same opportunity," Guimoye says.

After Camila was diagnosed with autism, Guimoye got her masters degree in behavioral analysis in order to better understand her daughter's diagnosis and how to best be there for her. Guimoye says that her degree also gave her the foundational knowledge to start EndlessBrain. “This EndlessBrain thing, I wake up so happy. Happy that they can feel their music,” Guimoye says.
